APRS

APRS is the acronym for Automatic Packet (also Position) Reporting System or automatic packet transmission system.

APRS is a special form of packet radio (data transmission in data packets).

he system was developed in 1992 by radio amateur Bob Bruninga (WB4APR) and offers interesting possibilities, for example. tracking vehicles, balloons, etc.
